The day after I took Connie's class for the first time (I could barely make it through the warm-up) I woke up and was sure I had never been that sore in my life. The only thing I could think was that I had to start training at the ATC...and I have been ever since. Maybe it sounds weird but training at the ATC might just be the highlight of my week. The workouts are always interesting, diverse, and just hard enough that you're not usually sure you're going to make it through but somehow you always do. Connie is an amazing coach and even created one-legged workouts for me all of last summer when I had a broken foot. Training at the ATC has made a stronger climber, both on rock and ice, I was ready for ski season, and it has helped me with distance running, my main passion.
